Last year, Mars released a limited edition high protein peanut butter flavour snickers, and I honestly thought they had made it specifically for me. Life was bliss, but once its short run was over and it was longer on sale, I sunk into a deep depression. I'd go to the supermarket and grab a jar of peanut butter and a Snickers, and dip the Snickers into the peanut butter, but it just wasn't the same... and all the other customers in the shop looked at me weird.
But there is light at the end of the tunnel. Mars announced this week that they are bringing back my beloved High Protein Peanut Butter Flavour Snickers.
And not just for another Limited Edition run, permanently!
Why do I like this Snickers so much you ask?
Well, firstly, it's Peanut Butter flavour... if you don't love peanut butter and peanut butter flavoured things, well, we can't be friends, and I hope you get hit by a bus.
Secondly, it has 20g protein per bar, which is actually up from 19g due to a new recipe since the limited edition run.
